Reviewed plans for design compliance with the adopted codes and ordinances. Administered the Landscape and Tree Preservation Ordinance. Supervised four Combination Inspectors. Staff liaison to the Building Code Board, Electrical Code Board and the Plumbing and Mechanical Code Board. Facilitate all technical training of division staff.

Administered the Uniform Model Codes and National Electrical Code. Issued Certificates of Occupancy to commercial businesses. Performed additional inspections for compliance with the Zoning, Landscape and Sign Ordinances. Acted as staff liaison to the Electrical Appeals and Advisory Board. Wrote and administered both electrical master and journeyman examinations.
